Loons School Day at Dow Diamond - May, 2017
On Wednesday, May 17, Impact Saginaw Area Credit Unions sponsored a trip to see a Great Lakes Loons game for approximately 250 local kids during School Kids Day at Dow Diamond.
Young People’s Concert - March 18, 2016
Approximately 1,400 4th – 6th grade students attended Impact Saginaw's “Young People’s Concert” event at the Temple Theatre. The Saginaw Bay Orchestra took students on a music tour across the world with musical selections from USA, Hungary, Austria, Romania, Spain, France, and Brazil.
Frozen - November 28, 2015
Impact Saginaw hosted a free showing of the movie Frozen at the Temple Theatre for over 1400 attendees. Kids received free popcorn and juice boxes and had the chance to take pictures with Miss Bay County Ashli Maser and Larissa Hollingsworth who dressed up as Elsa and Anna.

"Family Fun Day" - August 9, 2015
920 children and adults joined Impact Saginaw for Family Fun Day at FirstMerit Bank Event Park in Saginaw on Sunday, August 9th. This free event included music, inflatables, a rock climbing wall, games, activities and fun for the whole family! Chuck E. Cheese and Sammy Spirit even had a dance off and the kids had a great time participating in the hula hoop and limbo contests.
"Saginaw Spirit Education Game Day" - March 3, 2015
Impact Saginaw was proud to provide over 375 Saginaw elementary school children with the opportunity to attend the annual Saginaw Spirit Education Day at the Dow Event Center on Tuesday, March 3rd.
Through sponsorship of Impact Saginaw, the children were transported by bus to the Dow Event Center and provided with a complimentary lunch and Impact Saginaw lunch tote. They also enjoyed hockey action on-ice as the Saginaw Spirit take on the Plymouth Whalers and view educational displays throughout the arena.
"Johnson’s Giant Pumpkin Farm Field Trip" - October, 2014
Students at several Saginaw elementary schools were treated to a field trip to Johnson’s Giant Pumpkin Farm in October by Impact Saginaw area credit unions. Approximately 500 students from Arthur Eddy, Herig, Loomis, Jessie Rouse and Stone Elementary schools enjoyed a day at the farm which included a farm tour, fun activities, snacks and transportation.
“Thank you Impact Saginaw, for funding our trip to Johnson's Giant Pumpkin Farm”, said Mrs. Laura Green, Jessie Rouse Elementary Kindergarten Teacher. “My kindergarten students had a great time learning all about pumpkins and perusing the various displays. We appreciate you giving us this opportunity!"
"CU at the Zoo" - August 16, 2014
Over 3000 people joined Impact Saginaw at the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square on Saturday, August 16th where attendees enjoyed free admission, games and more.
In addition, CU Link provided 1000 free rides on the carousel or train and a souvenir photo for everyone!
"The Verve Pipe Family Concert" - May 3, 2014
Impact Saginaw enjoyed the sounds of multiplatinum band "The Verve Pipe" for a free, family friendly concert.
The band performed music from their children's albums "A Family Album" and "Are We There Yet?".
"Saginaw Spirit Education Day" - March 3, 2014
Impact Saginaw was proud to be a part of the Saginaw Spirit Education Day on Tuesday, March 4th! Thanks to this sponsorship, 300 area elementary students were able to enjoy a field trip to a Saginaw Spirit hockey game with lunch provided. This exciting event featured hockey action on-ice and educational experiences.
"Jingle All the Way" - December 7, 2013
Impact Saginaw and the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum got the community in the holiday spirit with our Jingle All the Way event. Those who attended enjoyed a free day of fun activities, hot cocoa, a visit with Santa and more!
"CU at The Zoo" - August 17, 2013
Our second event this year took place at the Saginaw Children’s Zoo located on Celebration Square. This event coincided with the Zoo’s back to school event and provided free admission and free ride passes to the first 500 attendees.
"CU at the Y for a Youth Tri" - July 27, 2013
Our first event of 2013 was a triathlon-like competition for kids ages 12 and under and featured swim, bike and running events.
